Kickboxer attacked by audience members after winning fight

Welterweight fighter, Murthel Groenhart, won the fight against Harut Grigorian when he knocked him out after Grigorian turned his back to the fight and went to his corner to have a cut looked at. The ref never stopped the fight and Groenhart’s punch was completely legal.

After the fight was over, members of the audience took turns throwing punches at Groenhart and broke the fighter’s jaw. Who knew protect yourself in the ring at all times also included punches thrown from audience members?
