Texans 2016 1st round pick, Will Fuller, broke his collarbone at practice today according to several reports. The injury is expected to keep him out for at least two or three months. Fuller is slight of build and has a good chance of re-injuring his collarbone due to the position he plays. Diving or falling on the collarbone could easily snap it again, and we have seen this type of thing before with Tony Romo, even though he plays a different position. The Texans will need to be careful when bringing him back, because they want to make sure he is good to go for the back half of the season. Braxton Miller and Jaelen Strong will be called upon to step up in the absence of Fuller, but they had injury issues of their own last season. Cecil Shorts is a free agent the Texans might consider because of his familiarity with the Texans offense. Will Fuller finished his rookie campaign last year with 47 catches for 635 yards and two touchdowns.
