According to several reports, the Astros have stuck a deal with their first round pick in this year’s draft, J.B. Bukauskas. The former Tar Heel has a fastball that sits in the low to mid-nineties and a slider that Baseball America calls the “nation’s best breaking pitch.” Bukauskas also features a change up and was ranked the 6th best prospect in the draft, according to Baseball America. The Astros got the deal done just in time before tomorrow’s deadline. Have a look at his draft tape to see what type of stuff he has.
