Today, John and Raheel talk about the growing trend of underpaid and undervalued players at the safety position in the NFL. The guys discuss whether they believe the Texans will commit to safety Tyrann Mathieu if he is able prove himself to still be a high-caliber player this upcoming season. Mathieu struggled to stay healthy his last couple of years with the Arizona Cardinals, but Granato and Raheel both believe it’s about time for the Texans to put some actual money into their secondary, especially safety, and rejuvenate their once dominant defense.
