The media’s role in Astros hate

Following Dusty Baker’s comments about fans booing the Houston Astros, many media members, including Stephen A. Smith and Max Kellerman, have been very vocal in defending, rationalizing, if not outright calling for, fans booing the Astros. Is the media provoking fans into a dangerous frenzy?
