Bob Stoops had an incredible run
Oklahoma has dominated the Big 12 since he became the head coach in 1999. The Sooners could have had a few more national championships, but they ranked in the top 10 in eleven out of eighteen seasons that he was the head coach. Stoops released a statement saying that health and scandal have nothing to do with his decision to retire, and he is just ready to move on from coaching the Sooners.
