Texans running back, D’Onta Foreman, was charged last week for possession of marijuana and a firearm while visiting some friends on campus at the University of Texas in Austin. Foreman’s attorney is now reporting that the drug test Foreman took came back negative. This is fantastic news for the rookie running back, and I’m sure for the Texans front office as well. Houston will be looking to lean on their new power running back this season, and his negative drug test should keep the NFL and Roger Goodell from placing Foreman in the drug program. Foreman was reportedly in coach Bill O’Brien’s dog house for showing up to camp out of shape, and the last thing he needed was a drug suspension before his first NFL training camp.
