Pete also told the guys an epic story about his trip to Vietnam where he discovered some very personal first-hand information about Joe DiMaggio. The DiMaggio story occurs almost six minutes into the segment. Pete tells many fantastic stories, so make sure you listen to the entire segment below. Rose also discussed his Hit King Baseball Academy that helps players enhance their baseball skills through training and personal coaching.

DiMaggio’s consecutive hit streak record may be broken

Finally, Pete shared his thoughts on which all-time baseball records have a chance of being broken, and which ones will remain intact forever. Rose believes that DiMaggio’s record could go down if a great hitter gets a little lucky and doesn’t face a string of dominate pitching. One of the records that Rose believes will remain unbroken is Cy Young’s record for the most wins in baseball history. Young finished with 511 wins in his career, and Pete doesn’t think any pitcher will ever get close to surpassing that feat.
