Texans OTAs are in full swing and offensive lineman, David Quessenberry, is back with the team after missing several seasons undergoing treatment for non-Hodgkins T-lymphoblastic lymphoma. The guys from The Blitz are not overly optimistic he will be able to come back and help the team this year, but the Texans are thin on the offensive line and they need all the help they can get. The problem with counting on Quessenberry is he was a sixth round pick to begin with, and the chances of him playing in the NFL are pretty slim.
Quessenberry may be become the second best player drafted by the Texans in 2013
The Texans draft class in 2013 was very poor except for the selection of DeAndre Hopkins. The other players drafted that year consisted of D.J. Swearinger, Brennan Williams, Sam Montgomery, Trevardo Williams, Alan Bonner, Chris Jones, and Ryan Griffin. Not exactly Rick Smith’s best draft class. Griffin has had some moments but nothing to get overly excited about. If Quessenberry can give the Texans anything this year, he would be at worst the third-best player from the 2013 draft class.
