Buster Olney Expects Astros To Add A Quality Starting Pitcher

ESPN’s, Buster Olney, caught up with the Usual Suspects and talked about the great start the Astros are off to, and how much better they will perform when the offense catches up with the starting pitching. Olney expected the Astros to swing the bats really well this year, but the starting pitching has been a pleasant surprise. Buster also shared his thoughts on the Yankees shocking a lot of people this year, and how impressed he is with the team’s confidence. Finally, he talked with the guys about the Yankees retiring Derek Jeter’s number during the series against the Astros, and also gave his World Series prediction.

The Astros need another starting pitcher

When asked if the Astros need to add another starting pitcher, Olney said he thinks they do, because injuries will occur and he expects the Yankees to improve as well by adding more pitching before the deadline. He also anticipates some quality starting pitchers to be available at the deadline.
