Former Astro and current Angels closer, Bud Norris, joined John Granato and Sean Salisbury on Unfiltered and talked about the series with the Astros that starts tonight, Mike Trout being one of the most dominant players in baseball, and moving into the closer’s role.

The secret to closing games
Norris told the guys that confidence is the key to being a good closer, and also shared his thoughts on implementing a pitch clock to speed games up. Finally, Norris talked about his excitement for the city of Houston to have a team performing as well as the Astros, and remembers how different things were when he was on the team. Bud still keeps up with the ball club and enjoys watching the young guys play, even though he has to compete against them.
