Today on The Bench, John and Lance discussed this year’s HOF class and talked about Roger Clemens and Barry Bonds being denied entry once again. John believes there are plenty of other players that have gotten in, despite being linked to steroids in one way or another. Several players fit in this category including Jeff Bagwell, David Ortiz, Ivan “Pug” Rodriguez, and many more. Why is Roger Clemens treated differently than a lot of these other players with similar rumors and accusations of PED use? It would be one thing if he had failed a test, but that’s not the case. John also went on to say that he has spoken with one of Roger’s doctors, and was told Clemens would regularly take B-12 shots, despite claims to the contrary. Also, there’s a really funny Sammy Sosa conversation going on in this segment as well. Don’t miss it!
