The Astros shouldn’t panic for a starter

Today on The Blitz, Fred and A.J. talked about the Astros need for another starting pitcher especially after the injuries to Morton and Musgrove. Gerritt Cole or Chris Archer would be the two pitchers that the guys have the most interest in, but they think the team is playing too well to rush into a trade. They believe the Astros should wait until the trade deadline gets a little closer before making a move.

It seems crazy to say, but the offense can get better

The team isn’t going to score seventeen runs in every game, like they did today, but the offense actually does have room for improvement. The Astros only have two players hitting over .300 and McCann and Beltran are both batting under .250
