Deshaun Watson wins ESPY for Best Male College Athlete

Last night, Texans QB Deshaun Watson was nominated for Best Championship Performance and Best Male College Athlete at the 2017 ESPY Awards. Watson came away with one of the two awards. Best Championship Performance went to Kevin Durant of the Golden State Warriors, but Watson did take home the award for Best Male College Athlete. Watson was competing against Ian Harkes (Wake Forest soccer), Frank Mason (Kansas basketball), Matt Rambo (Maryland lacrosse), and Zain Retherford (Penn State wrestling). Watson finished the season with 4,593 yards passing with 41 TDs and 17 int. He also rushed for 629 yards and nine scores on the ground. Deshaun finished off his last season at Clemson by beating Alabama in the national championship game.
